10-Head Cashew Nut Cutting Machine
| OUTTURN · Factory Direct from Binh Phuoc, Vietnam · Immediate Spare Parts Availability |
The OUTTURN 10-head cashew nut cutting machine is the flagship configuration — the machine that defines the OUTTURN performance benchmark. At 300–400 kg of RCN per hour from a single 0.75 kW motor, it delivers the throughput of a full medium-scale cashew processing line in one machine, with an energy cost per kilogram that makes it one of the most efficient cutting machines in commercial production anywhere in the world.
The 10-head is the standard choice for new plant installations in the 2.5–4 TPD range, for plants transitioning from Indian-design multi-machine lines to a single high-throughput rotary cutter, and for processors who have identified cutting section throughput as the bottleneck limiting their overall plant capacity. Its per-kg electricity cost — as low as $0.0025 per kg RCN in low-tariff countries — represents a clear commercial advantage over any machine in its throughput class that operates on a larger motor.

Who Is the 10-Head Cashew Cutter For?
- New medium-to-large plant installations targeting 2.5–4 TPD where a single high-throughput cutting machine is preferred over multiple smaller units.
- Plants transitioning from Indian-design piston-type machines to rotary cutting — the 10-head delivers 2–3× the throughput of a typical 4-head Indian-design machine from the same motor power.
- Operations where kernel quality grade is a commercial priority — the rotary mechanism’s consistent cutting geometry produces more uniform WW and WS grade output than high-head-count piston machines running at near-capacity.
- Export-oriented processors where electricity cost per kg is a factor in buyer sustainability reporting.
- Plants running double shifts — the 10-head’s motor efficiency and robust cutting head design is optimised for high-utilisation environments.
The 10-Head vs the 12-Head: Choosing the Right Configuration
The 10-head and 12-head both use the same motor, same blade geometry, and same operating principle. The difference is throughput: 280–320 kg/hr for the 10-head vs 340–400 kg/hr for the 12-head. For most operations below 4 TPD per shift, the 10-head provides sufficient capacity with slightly lower capital cost. The 12-head is the right choice for operations that have specifically modelled 4+ TPD throughput requirements or that plan to expand to double-shift operation. Design and Working Principle of 10 Head Cashew Cutting Machine
The OUTTURN 10-head cashew cutting machine uses a horizontal rotary cutting mechanism — the same core engineering that runs across the entire OUTTURN range from 2-head to 12-head. Each cutting head operates on a continuous rotary cycle: the nut is loaded into a cup, the cup rotates into the blade plane, the blade splits the shell at the seam, and the cut nut is discharged. The cycle repeats without interruption.
This rotary design delivers higher throughput per kW of motor power than reciprocating piston designs because the mechanism is continuously in motion rather than reversing direction on every stroke. The 0.75 kW (1 HP) three-phase motor that drives the machine remains the same regardless of head count — additional heads increase throughput by multiplying cutting stations, not by increasing motor power. This is why the OUTTURN range achieves exceptional energy efficiency per kilogram processed.
Blades are carbide-tipped for extended service life. Cups are designed for the size distribution of commercially traded RCN and are replaceable as standard maintenance items. All wetted surfaces are designed for CNSL resistance.
