Cashew nuts are pre-sorted by size before cutting — and each size grade requires its own dedicated machine, calibrated to the correct blade gap. Running mixed grades through a single machine shatters small nuts or under-cuts large ones. This calculator takes your daily RCN input, your shift length, and your country of origin, then splits your total throughput into five size-grade streams (A+, A, B, C, D) using origin-specific size distributions built from real procurement data. For each stream it calculates the required machine capacity — including a 10% operational buffer — and recommends the right head configuration and number of units, with utilisation flagged so you can spot bottlenecks before they happen.
